I can guarantee you one thing, this woman and her deadbeat son do NOT want jobs! They want a handout and they were talking to the right socialist to get it!
Now I'm as cynical as the next guy, but man, this poor lady pulled at my heartstrings. Sure, maybe I'm naive.
The good thing is you can bet the press will be all over this situation and if it's true this lady will get the help she needs; of course, if it's not true then the press will out her for a fraud.
Then again, the cynic in me says if she really is a fraud the liberal press will simply cover it up. But hey, if that's the case I still love good theater.

My first job that had anything to do with realestate was in timeshares. (mostly ripoffs)
Well once they had the room full of (ups) they would always make a big seen as if someone had just made the best investment of thier life by signing right there!
Now of course the whole thing was staged even many of the people working there did not know at first, but once you seen the same people buy three in two weeks it was not to hard to figue out!
Now I doubt we will see her do the same thing in his next show but I would not be surprised to see something similar by someone else!

Obama is selling "Hope", and hope is a very easy to sell to common Americans. The kiss on the cheek sealed the deal and melted most of America.
I have seen thousands of people speak, and there have only been a select few that have been able to "capture" me. Obama is one of those people, and I disagree with him most of the time. The guy is amazing!
This is what scares the heck out of me! If Obama can capture a guy like me, I worry about the power he has over the people who agree with him! He has already been cast a hero, and has not done anything yet!
(*I am not trying to take away from the fact that he is the first African-American president, so I do not want to offend anyone and want to make that point clear. He will hold a place in history for this, and is a hero for this achievement. However, I feel that the buzz I am seeing out of people is much more than that.)
I feel bad talking negative about a homeless lady and her son living in a car, but then again can we believe anything we see? Maybe we are we all so tainted and cynical that we are not being fair?
I would love to see people get help, I am not that cold. My concern is how are we to know who REALLY needs it, and who is just playing a system?
I dug a little further. The "partner" Jeff mentioned earlier is her son Corey Hughes who is mentioned in the press conference as the son with no job. He's also the person she quit claimed the property to.
I hope you don't mind Jeff but I made PDFs of the county docs of her history as a real estate investor between 2001 and 2006 (apparently she has been on welfare since 2004) and have been e-mailing Rush, O'Reilly and Hannity to get it to them.
I just wish I could tell if 1011 Hibiscus Avenue, in Lehigh Acres, FL is the 3-4 bedroom new construction home with an enclosed glass porch or pool attached to the back of the home or the lot right across the street from it. Such are the limitations of Google Earth....

I don't know Harrison. I'm guessing they don't know about it yet. This Henrietta Hughes is fresh news and she's kept herself out of real estate dealings since she quit claim this property in 06. I just found out about her son being the partner in the first land deal and the second party of the quit claim deed late last night when I found the name Corey Hughes on the deed and googled "Henrietta Hughes' son" to get his name. Like I said, I'm trying to get this out to someone that actually will report on it.
This is the type of situation that proves to me how corrupt and government controlled our media really is. (Yes....even Fox News)
If simple guys like us can dig this up, and it is public record, then you know darn well the media has all this information and they are not reporting.
If you call them out on it, they will smear you and make you look like a looney tunes.
I saw that on FoxNews, heard she "given" a house, though i don't know if it was actually deeded to her. What i found that was ADDITIONALLY disturbing was actually the lady NEXT to Ms. Hughes...with her starry eyed look and she said "I love you Barak"...CREEPY. I rewound that little tidbit for my 18 yo daughter to review and she agreed...
Also the guy from McDonald's who feels entitled to MORE benefits because he has (through no fault of his own, of course) been "stuck" at McD's for 4 years because there are "no other jobs" ...he was offered a journalism position. I do not know from whom, I heard that on the radio.
This country has a new way of thinking. The new American way is, "I EXIST, therefore I am ENTITLED. GIMME. NOW"
