how is the market for newbies in Madison ?

Our 22 yr old son is moving from CA to Madison for a job. We want to help him start investing there and househack... he wants to live in

downtown area . any ideas on where we should look ?

Hi @Marie Tanjuatco! I'm an investor and realtor here in Madison and have lived here for over 12 years. Downtown Madison is very college centric, so depending on your son's lifestyle and age it could be a very fun place to be. There are a lot of great surrounding neighborhoods (north side, east side, eken park, atwood, etc) that are easily accessible by bike or a very short drive from downtown that are a little less expensive than being right in the thick of it.
