Seeking a Lawyer to draft a letter to an HOA

We have a rental in Saint Cloud which we have been renting for a few years. The current tenant is leaving and the HOA is now saying that we cannot rent it because the rental cap is full and we need to go on the waiting list. Our property manager believes that the HOA is retaliating for some prior argument that they were having.

We want to find a lawyer to draft a letter to the HOA. We just want the letter and not to have to retain the lawyer. Does anyone have a lawyer that they could recommend?

I don't personally know any attorneys in that area that I could recommend, but a generally applicable suggestion for situations where you are looking to hire an attorney is to search for one on martindale.com. You can search by practice area and location to try and find an attorney who will be able to help in your situation, and you can find reviews on the site as well. In this scenario, a real estate attorney who has experience dealing with homeowners' associations and HOA disputes would likely be your best bet.

Before I hire an attorney - what do the bylaws say? If it is black and white that they are correct, then why spend the money fighting it? A letter is not going to do anything. They will most likely require you to sue them.
