Hi everyone,
My name is Manuel Abadia and I’m just getting started in real estate investing, focusing on wholesaling as my entry point. I’m currently learning how to analyze deals, run comps, and understand the full wholesaling process from contract to assignment.
I’m currently based outside the U.S., but San Antonio, Texas is my primary target market. My main goal right now is to learn the business the right way, build relationships, and connect with experienced investors.
I’m 100% open to:
- Helping find deals
- Bird-dogging
- Shadowing experienced wholesalers
- Learning from anyone active in Texas
Not looking to sell anything yet, just here to learn, add value, and build long-term connections.
Appreciate any advice, resources, or connections you’re willing to share.

You'll learn a lot just by doing. Try to refine your lead generation (what sellers will you target? where will you find leads (paid or public lists)?
There are a lot of pieces to wholesaling: finding distressed sellers, running accurate comps, convincing them to sell to you, finding buyers, etc. just make sure to take it 1 step at a time!

Manuel, smart move starting with wholesaling - it's the fastest way to learn deal analysis without your own money at risk. One thing that'll help you early on: track your activity metrics daily, not just closed deals. Calls made, properties analyzed, follow-ups sent. When those numbers trend up weekly, the deals follow. Are you planning to cold call sellers or focus more on direct mail for lead gen?
