Hey BP friends. I'm currently looking at lower priced SFR properties in north central PA and wanted to know if anyone had recommendations on Insurance companies. Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of different companies that offer great rental property products. Do you own multiple properties or are you just looking for insurance on a single property. Some carriers to look into are Foremost(SFH only), Tower Hill and American Modern are all great option to get quotes from.

I recommend finding an Independent Agent that represents multiple companies in the PA market. There are a lot of regional Insurance companies that can be very competitive in the markets they service. Also, those regional and mutual companies have traditionally focused on Home and Rented Dwellings. Which carrier will be best for your property will depend on:
- Age & how updated
- type of construction
- size
- Fire proteciton of the town and of the property
- claims history
etc.
That is why I recommend shopping it with multiple carriers.
