Hello everyone,

I am looking to invest and do some wholesale deal in San Francisco Bay Area. What I am looking for is to able to help the investor to achieve their dream (because that is my dream to, I just don't have cash to do it yet) and learn from them. I would like to build a rental portfolio some day. Right now I am just looking do build cash capital by wholesaling.

I just want to have a call out to all the investor in the San Francisco bay area and if you could drop me a line on what you want. It will be greatly appreciate because I will know what I should be looking for and I will sure to bring it to you first when I got something on my hand that you are looking for.

I am new and energetic to both learning and doing deal.

Have a great day!

Erick

Erick Tran I noticed your profile says Wichita Kansas, why San Francisco ?? Just curious? The reason I ask, is because I think for someone new, investing/wholesaling in your own back yard might be a good way to go. It will be easier to meet/network with other investors and professionals in the business. A whole lot easier to see the properties in person and a ton easier to to actually close with a seller.. No matter the market you choose learn that market. Understand what makes a deal, what house are selling for(cash and finance purchases). Learn repair cost! (Some people might say that dose not matter as much because your buyer will do their own repair estimate.) That's not the way to look at it, if your in for the long haul you will have to learn them anyways. Start now and get good at them!!! This business is built over years not months. Have big goals, but fall in love with the process of achieving them! So many people say they are going to knock down a deal in a month or two, and while that is posable, it is highly unrealistic! Set your self up to win by having a long term mind set. Just my opinion.. To your success bud!

Sorry for the confusion. I am doing it in KS at this moment but I am moving to the bay area in the end of August. So I start looking and investing in the bay area. Trying to reach out to the investors there.

I totally agree with you about the repair cost. I have hard time with it when I started too. I am still learning on how to give a proper estimate.

I will change it as soon as I land there. Thanks for remind me of it.

    Erick,

Congratulations on the move to The Bay! Plenty of fun things to check out and opportunities to uncover! I moved to San Jose just over a year ago and am in a similar boat; I've been reading, listening to podcasts, take RE classes, and practicing crunching deals for several months now, and I'm ready to start taking action. Similarly, my capital is minimal. My plan is to ask local investors to work for free under them for a few weeks in exchange for some knowledge, experience, and wisdom. That could be a good outlet to go to get started and help build your credibility. Please reach out if you'd like to meet up once you arrive !
