For those currently rehabbing or flipping properties, I’m curious—what’s the biggest challenge you face when it comes to funding your next deal?

Is it finding enough capital for the purchase, covering renovation costs, qualifying for financing, managing cash flow between projects, or something else?

I work in the business funding space and am interested in learning more about the real challenges investors are facing when trying to grow and take on more deals.

I’d love to hear what has worked for you and what challenges you’re running into. What’s the biggest obstacle you face when funding your next project?

Speed.   Always.   Yes, private funding can be expensive but if you are in and out in 2-3 months it's perfectly fine.   Most borrowers these days are taking 90-95% of the purchase plus 100% of the rehab so with minimal cash up front they have the chance to make huge returns.   Sadly, too many allow the flip to drag on 10+ months and those carrying costs kill deals.

My last flip was 10+ months and only because I bought it right did I make a decent return...   I should have been more focused!

100% agree. Speed can make or break a deal, especially when you’re competing with cash buyers or trying to close quickly. That’s exactly why having the right funding options lined up before the opportunity comes can make such a difference. What’s been the biggest delay you’ve experienced—approval, underwriting, or actually getting the funds?
