New Investor in Indianapolis with Sheriff Sale Eviction process question!

Hello everyone! I just recently purchased a home I intend to rent out after doing some major rehab. It was through Sheriff Sale Auction and was a foreclosure. The tenant cleared out items already but a ton of things were left behind. Most of these items don't seem of any value and are in rough shape. There are some family photos. I'm hearing conflicting things. I had a 3rd party come in to document pictures for protection but wondering if I can now dispose of items? 
Anyone have experience here? Thanks ahead of time!
