Finally diving into BiggerPockets- wish I’d start sooner

Found this platform about a month ago and honestly slept on it way longer than i should have. I kept scrolling past it thinking it was just another forum, but the more time I spend here the more I realize how much value is actually sitting in these threads. I work on the lending side in Texas, so I’m around investors deals and funding conversations all day- but Biggerpockets is the first place I’ve seen where flippers, wholesalers and lenders are all actually talking to eachother in the same space. Most platforms feels like they’re built for one type of investor, this one feels like the whole market showed up to the same room. Getting more active here going forward. If you’re working deals in Texas - fix and flip, bridge whatever doesn’t fit the traditional lending box I’m always happy to swap notes or just talk shop. Curious what’s working for people right now in this environment?

    Welcome, Zach. I’m on the business funding side, so there’s a lot of crossover with what you’re doing with flippers and investors. One strategy I help investors with is accessing business funding based primarily on a strong personal credit profile paired with a properly structured LLC.

    That can include business lines of credit, 0% APR business credit cards, business loans, and, for established businesses with consistent revenue, revenue-based funding. These can be useful for rehab costs, deposits, carrying costs, materials, or covering gaps between draws.

    One of the biggest benefits with certain business credit products is that normal balances and utilization often don’t report to the personal credit bureaus, so they may not impact personal utilization the same way personal cards do. It can be a strong complement to private, bridge, or hard money financing instead of relying on one source of capital for the entire project.

    Definitely looking forward to swapping notes on what you’re seeing in the Texas market.

      @Nicholas Floyd
      Hey, appreciate you reaching out. Makes a lot of sense honestly — I see it all the time, guys doing hard money for the property and then scrambling to cover rehab or carrying costs out of pocket. Having something that doesn't ding personal utilization sounds like a smart piece to pair alongside that.

      I'm with Triple Crown Capital Group, we do hard money for flips and bridge deals across Texas (triplecrowncapitalgroup.com if you want to poke around). Would be cool to stay in touch and send deals each other's way when it fits. Texas market's been interesting lately, curious what you're seeing on your end too.

      @Zach Aldape

      Zach, I appreciate that. I took a look at Triple Crown Capital Group, and I definitely see an opportunity for us to complement each other. You handle the property-side financing, and I help investors access business capital for rehab, carrying costs, and other expenses that can come up during a project.

      I’m seeing a lot of investors who have a solid deal but need additional liquidity to keep things moving. Having both options available could make a real difference for those clients.

      I’d be glad to stay connected and send opportunities your way when they fit. I’d also like to learn more about your lending criteria and share how my funding process works. Would you be open to a short phone conversation sometime this week?
