First BPCON — Who’s going from Florida?

Question

Hi everyone! This will be my first BPCON and I’m really looking forward to it.

I’m based in Orlando and work in real estate throughout Central Florida. I’m also getting more involved on the investing side, especially with house hacking, buy-and-hold, duplexes, and small multifamily.

One of the main reasons I’m going to BPCON is to learn from people who are actively investing and to meet others doing deals in Florida and beyond.

I’d love to hear from anyone else attending for the first time—or anyone investing in Orlando, Tampa Bay, Ocala, or other Florida markets.

For those who have been to BPCON before: what’s one thing you wish you knew before your first conference?

I went to my first BPCON 4 years ago, and I thought the best part was the discussions during lunch and late night. The talks were intriguing, but really is about the people you meet and conversations had.

@Nicol Amaranto excited to have you join us! Make sure to download and check out the Whova App for the conference--I actually see a "Orlando Locals" meetup group already! What you'll find is that people use that app to find area-specific people so they can network while at the conference. I'll be at registration all day Friday--so grab me if you have any questions!
