Hi, I am new to investing and was wondering if there was any Real Estate investor group meetups to network with local investors in the Lexington area?

If you go to the dashboard (click the BP logo), you check for upcoming events near you.

  Sadly nothing on that map in your area currently. There are often folks posting things on meetup and eventbrite, so you might check those sites too.

Welcome to BiggerPockets! You can check out local investor meetups in the Lexington area through the Investor map feature on your dashboard when you log in. You can also create your own event there if you don’t see one that fits what you’re looking for. Hope you find some great local connections!

@Kol Dailey, it looks like you already got some good leads on where to find the Lexington groups. Once you start going, I’d also use those meetups to get to know people from different sides of real estate, not just other investors.

I’ve worked with investors who built relationships with attorneys, lenders, agents, contractors, and other professionals before they actually needed them. Then when a deal came up and they had a question about a contract, title, financing, or the property itself, they already knew who they could call. Networking has been a big part of my own experience in real estate too, @Kol Dailey. I’m a real estate attorney and investor, and I always enjoy meeting people from different parts of the industry.
