Hi everyone! I’m Vicky from Northern Kentucky. I’m excited to join the BiggerPockets community, connect with others interested in real estate, and learn from the experiences shared here. I’m especially interested in conversations about rental properties and the Northern Kentucky market. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome, @Vicky McIntosh. Since you’re on the property management side, I’m sure you get a very real look at what landlords deal with after the property is purchased. I work with landlords and investors regularly, and I’ve always found that good property management can make a huge difference, especially when communication, leases, documentation, or tenant issues come up.

A lot of the matters I see as a real estate attorney start with something that seemed small during the day-to-day management of a property. Having people involved who keep good records and address issues early can make those situations much easier to handle.

Thank you, @Diana Khan I completely agree. So many larger issues can be prevented with strong communication, thorough documentation, and addressing concerns early. One of my goals with Legacy Key is to be proactive rather than reactive and to protect both the property and the owner’s investment.

I appreciate your perspective from the legal side as well. It’s always great to connect with professionals who understand the challenges landlords and investors face. I’d love to stay connected—I can definitely see opportunities for us to be a resource to one another!
