hey all, new to the houston rental space. me and my partner are building some tools for first time investors here so trying to learn from people who've actually done it
for those who bought a long term rental around houston, what surprised you the most? taxes, MUD, insurance, financing, finding the place?
from what we've seen so far taxes and insurance kill way more deals than people expect but curios if that matched what you have been thorugh!

@Zury Hamoui Welcome! You’re right, taxes and insurance can definitely change the numbers on a deal. If you’re looking at financing options for Houston rentals, feel free to reach out. Happy to connect and see what lending options might work for you.

Great to have you in the BP community Zury, welcome! I'm not a Houston investor, but I'd agree that taxes and insurance are the quiet deal killers in a lot of markets.
