I invested in a resort development a few years ago now and I'm looking for anyone with experience in real estate in Mexico that possibly has on the ground contacts or if I can discuss my situation a little more specifically with you/them.
I suggest @mike Lambert for information on investing in RE in mexico. You can search for his posts on Mexico or possibly DM him. I have found his posts to be balanced with rationale. For example he will tell you good things about investing in Mexico and the bad (financing, even less liquid than US RE, contractors, Sargassum).
@Dan H. I very much appreciate the compliments, especially coming from you, one of the pillars of the BiggerPockets forums. And I have to say I've always found your posts very balanced and with rationale too. I wish all the posts would be like that in order to help our fellow investors even better.
