We aren’t using a realtor, I have a marketing background and have been able to drum up enough interest without one.

Sounds like an agent trying to drum up business.

I've got a few irons in the fire so to speak drumming up extra cash to help with purchasing  the properties.

We needed a new transformer (the reason the circuit board got fried) which cost us all of..drum roll...$40.

AND THEN-drum roll, please-pitches his course to me again.

All auction.com is doing is providing an advertising service (unless they are going to be the auctioneer crying the property at the courthouse) for the lenders who choose to drum up interest in the courthouse auction in advance.

Now this principle is great if you can find a property that meets that criteria (which is possible if you are the one out there pounding the streets and drumming up your own leads), but to draw a line in the sand and say that you will ONLY buy a property that meets this criteria is, in my opinion, a mistake. 

I'll have plenty of cards for sure.I'm also going to knock doors around the neighborhood to drum up some interest for the open house.
