But, I get the impression that you're no longer in a place where you need to be looking out for where your next mortgage payment is coming from, and you can afford to donate your time without too much concern about whether you'll get (re-)paid for it.Unfortunately, most real estate agents these days aren't in that situation...and that's the point of view that I like to keep in mind when I ask someone to help me with something...

So, I suggest you just do your charitable donations privately - or at least not let your tenants know about it.This would possibly feel a bit demeaning to them.
