If the title insurance company issued the policy, and did not include this lean as an exception (and they likely didn't, because they typically will not close if there is a known lien), then it is incumbent on them to resolve the cloud on the title on your behalf.

While the multi-member LLC may help your argument against the alter ego, a good plaintiff's attorney will be able to make a compelling argument against the strength of the LLC.Not to mention, it's most beneficial to resolve most disputes at the entity level since it's easier to simply obtain a judgment or lien against the LLC and therefore cloud the real estate title.
