Since we are buying several of each item (we need 2-3 sets now) and hopefully will be rehabbing 8-12 by year 2/3, has anyone had success negotiating a bulk discount with either the big box brands or with a smaller family owned appliance store or even a retail distributor. 

My flooring guy drives over to Dalton because that's where the distributor is.

Usually if you visit your local distributors you can find better deals, but that can take time. 

Unless you are getting your windows from Home Depot or Lowes (or something equivalent) there is usually a window manufacturer who then has a list of distributors in your area. 

The business has changed since I was a fastener rep in Texas but I know there are many fastener distributors in the Metroplex that will carry the tools for these.Even Fastenal, the big chain might be able to help you out.

You will be able to connect with some of the largest management companies, mobile home distributors, brokers and other owners.

Too many of the groups I attended were actually just fronts for selling the Renatus MLM thing.

Since I believe Primerica is like an MLM maybe it will be useful in developing my skills in marketing, communication, networking..which would be helpful in real estate.

There are also plenty of MLM scams programs that you could make money by owning all of the utility accounts. 

Like everything, the large manufacturers and distributors (more likely tobacco and alcohol manufacturers) will swoop in and take the cream off the top.
