For those of you self-managing a smaller number of units, have you figured out a good way to do this without spending a fortune on software?

- Is form 1099-NEC filed through a software?

The reason QuickBooks seems so intimadating, or any software program for that matter, is because we are using a computer to enter in our income and expenses instead of a piece of paper and a pen. 

I wouldn't pay for software to verify income when I can do it for free in just a matter of minutes.

I agree that it's the best software I've found, but I also don't want to do it all myself or build a system that keeps me from scaling.

QBO has everything you need to run a business, including excellent reporting features and integration with other software.
