I have also quit my corporate job and am well on my way to escaping the "rat Race" that the traditional go to college, get a job, and save money for retirement mentality.

Why we build the same floorplan over and over again:1) Easier for Trades and Faster Build Times: Our trades have been working on the same layouts repeatedly, so they have become more efficient.2) Less Mental Space for Decisions: We don’t spend too much time deciding on which floorplan to build, we focus our time on growing the business and serving our customers.3) Best ROI based on Square Footage: The floorplan we build gives us the best return on investment.

Problems cost more not only in money, but mental stress.As far as foreign investors, I don't see anything specific on the horizon that would negatively affect the UK.

The mental adjustment it took to be able to take a risk and step outside my comfort zone was rough at first.

The following is our approach, not just financial, but mental also getting ready for retirement.1.  

I have held true to the debt free mentality for several years, and it has worked great for me.  

I think wrapping my head around the financing methods that are readily available and reproducible will help me scale mentally and practically though.
