I'm buying my first property it's a duplex, I really need opinions on should I hire property Managment or do it myself. It's my first deal I don't wanna make mistakes but I've also heard mixed reviews of property management also

@Richard Lindsey. My advice is to manage your first property yourself. It's going to be stressful, but it's an invaluable experience. You should definitely price management into your analysis, because you probably don't want to manage your whole portfolio if you plan to grow, but the experience of doing it yourself, even for just a couple years, will help you know what to look for in a management company, and how to deal with them when you do hand off the management.
