You really have to let go of your attachment to junk, even useful or seemingly valuable items or equipment.

I always thought of buying and flipping but the brrrr seems like a nice thing to do for us

I'm surprised to hear that you want to do land flipping - and by that I'm assuming that you mean buying vacant land at a discounted price and reselling it.That seems like a much more difficult way to go than a standard fix & flip.

So, even when it seems overwhelming to become a "real estate investor," owning a home can be a great way to break the ice. 

And the answer always seem to involve increasing our monthly expenses, or decrease our amenities....
