Most guests think of short-term rentals as hotels now so making sure you have nice touches will help a lot (i.e. extra pillows & supplies, soaps & detergents, etc).

Unlike a long term rental, you’ll also be paying for all utilities, internet, yard maintenance and for consumables like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent etc.

I do use bleach and detergent but that is it.

Remember your costs will be more for an STR, you'll be paying for a lot of things you wouldn't with an LTR - higher STR insurance, all utilities including internet, supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent etc, upkeep on furniture and linens if damaged, yard maintenance and grass cutting/snow removal, trash removal, etc.
