You could have avoided this with the research.Common sense also prevails in many instances where if there is land in a townhome community - why did the original builder not build there as townhomes are not built by individual owners.

Not what you're asking ... but I'd remove that damn thing.There are Airbnb amenities that are a pain in the a** but that also bring value (hot tub, for instance, especially for my STR clients here in Colorado).

For instance, you contact says 12 months, you ESTIMATED 6 months, but now its month 8 and wrapping up but Thanksgivings weird because Uncle BOB keeps saying you promised 6 months and you are just stealing from him, but he agreed to 12 months and you are still able to keep that problem because you extended that out.

Maybe it will be fine, but my experience with Airbnb's protections, for instance, is not good here in ColoradoWe've needed some help with damage at our midterm rentals in Denver and Colorado Springs, and Airbnb sided heavily with the tenants and did not pay out what we thought they should.

There are so many developers who do so many different things in Los Angeles.For instance you may run into a guy who does strip malls, or a guy who does skyscrapers, or someone who specializes in buying and flipping houses in Class C neighborhoods, or somebody who just owns apartments in very rough parts of town, etc...
