Announce a win.But if you look closely, almost none of that activity leads to actual conversations, decisions, or relationships.It just creates noise.At some point, more posting doesn’t increase visibility — it reduces clarity.When everyone is saying roughly the same thing, it becomes harder to tell who actually understands what they’re doing and who doesn’t.So instead of helping people connect, it creates friction.You end up with a feed full of activity, but very little coordination.The interesting shift (at least from what I’ve seen) is moving from broadcasting to actually engaging.Not just putting something out there, but:•responding with intent•following through on conversations•building context over timeThat’s where things start to compound.Curious how others think about this — do you see more value coming from posting, or from actual interaction?

Ive had to deal with leaking pipes will on the road back from my daughters soccer game an hour away, Ive dealt with guests arriving at 1 am and not understanding how to work a smart lock in the dark, I've dealt with cleaners backed up due to circumstances and guests arriving early and having to wait an extra hour beyond check-in time because the place wasnt clean.I did try to prepare and I have the numbers for a 24-hour plumber and my handyman does off hour calls and we have negotiated his rates.

I have been reluctant to broadcast this information to the note investment community, hoping not to "hang out my dirty laundry" with colleagues or the note investment community.

It collects our rent, screens our tenants, broadcasts our properties for rent, has full accounting and reporting.  

It collects our rent, deposits it to our bank account, applies late fees, allows for use of credit cards, screens our tenants, has a full accounting suite with reporting, broadcasts our vacancies on 20-30 websites, collects applications, lets our tenants report maintenance issues, and much more.  

With the click of a button the system will broadcast our listing to Zillow, and about 20 other smaller websites.  

The irony is that the people actually building, fixing, and improving things rarely have time to broadcast it — meanwhile the hucksters make content all day.At the end of the day, the fundamentals haven’t changed: real wealth still comes from real work and real assets.

I think what we are seeing is with most of these folks having these issues and now with the internet these issues are broadcast wide far.
