Hey Everyone -
We've released some huge improvements to the BiggerPockets Blog this week that are designed to make your lives easier and I wanted to share . . .
1 - Added our main blue navigation bar at the top of the page. Previously, the user experience on our BP Blog left something to be desired, as our main navigation didn't exist. Now, as you read our articles, you'll have access to all the tools you're able to access from the rest of the site.
2 - We've made commenting on BP Blog articles seamless. When you visit the blog while you're logged into the site, you'll now be logged into our BiggerPockets Blog. If you want to leave a comment on our articles, just scroll to the bottom of the post and you'll see that you're posting as yourself (your name and avatar will indicate that you're logged in). Post your feedback without having to enter your name and email address every time.
Your comments will be linked to your BP Profile and your website (if you've got one).
Hopefully these improvements will make your experience on our blog a better one and we do hope you'll participate more on those post by leaving comments or other feedback.
NOTE: If you're still seeing the OLD Login fields below our blog posts, just go to BiggerPockets and login to your account. When you go back to the blog, you'll automatically be logged in to that platform.

I've been a Pro Member for about a year now, and the connections I've made, and ideas generated from these forums have helped me find additional deals, a great partner, more income, and shifting out of the '9-5'...

@Roy N. - This is not a matter of it happening again, it is the first time this has occurred. Members never had the ability to post to the BiggerPockets Blog using their accounts. That said, we certainly don't want these privacy issues to occur and will have a fix up ASAP. Thank you for letting me know.

I was mistaken on the "again" part, it was the member blogs where this had occurred in the past.

@Joshua D. , I sometimes find it useful to return to a Forum topic by searching the posts I made on the forum thread. I don't see a way to search responses I have made to BP blogs. Is that search available? If not, has it been considered?

@Jeff Rabinowitz - That's functionality that I've never seen online -- the ability to search the content of blog comments. We will hopefully be adding functionality to let you track your comments, but as for searching responses, I'm not sure that'll be coming.
That said, there is an alert to let you know when someone replies to your blog comments.

Thanks for the fast response @Joshua D. . I don't think I explained my question well. On the task bar under "Forums" I can click on "Recent Forum Posts" and see the responses I have made on recent threads (or see threads that I have started). I sometimes use that feature to check a thread for recent activity. Sometimes I will go to my profile page and check activity by clicking on a recent forum post I made.
The responses I have made to BP blogs or other Member blogs are not displayed (to my knowledge). I find my e-mail fills up fairly quickly if I enable the notice feature, especially if it is a popular blog. If there were a tab which showed recent responses a member could use it to check recent activity on a blog they responded to.

@ Joshua Dorkin... Thank you very much for everything you have created and provided for the Real Estate Community. I also want to give a big thanks to everyone who contributes and maintains the BP website, as well. This is an absolutely exceptional website, and the amount of benefits and resources that it provides is amazing and essential. I am so glad that I came across and found out about BP. It is greatly appreciated, and I am going to be upgrading very soon. Thanks again BP!!!
