Hey everyone,
Real quick I'd like to thank Josh for such a cool site. This place is great!
Anywho, my name is Kyle Quackenbush, I'm from Olathe, Kansas but I currently live in Lawrence and am working towards an accounting degree at KU.
I've been interested in real estate for a while, but didn't really get my butt in gear until recently. My experience in real estate is limited to the posts I've read here, one of Steve Cook's wholesaling books, and what I picked up from my summer job at the bank (I scanned loan documents, including appraisals).
My goal for 2010 is to get a good wholesaling mentor and learn this business. If anyone is interested in being a mentor, please PM me.
Thanks for the intro and message to me, Kyle! Best of luck in getting your degree and in lining up a wholesaling mentor. Meanwhile, get over to the wholesaling forum and read up. Also, be sure to read Steph Davis' articles on the BiggerPockets Blog - between them, you should be able to get a pretty good education in wholesaling. From there, I'd just suggest you ask any questions that haven't been answered for you, and I'm sure someone will be there to help.
