Hello all, I am a new member to BP. I came across this forum researching information about real flow investors and found a lot of informative information. I'm in the very beginning stages of investing and I am looking to acquire as more knowledge as possible and I hope to gain as much insight as possible.

Welcome to BP!
I'm pretty familiar with Motor City. I used to invest there quite heavily in 2004. In fact I was there once or twice EVERY month throughout the year! I liked the revitalization that was coming along downtown, and only wished that it kept going.
Anyway, those days are gone, but I still work with real estate investors around the world helping them create wealth! :)

Marco Santarelli and Geof Greeneisen as I look though the various forums I am quite overwhelmed with the vast amount of information available. I have been doing research about real estate and I will admit it is very exciting as well as scary also. I am a total novice in terms of actual investing and I am looking to gain as much knowledge as possible. If there is any direction you could point me in to begin to learn more about maybe wholesales, quick flips, funding, documents, building websites, and so much more information i am looking to obtain it would be beyond greatly appreciated.

@ jarese for starters..i would say identify your strengths...are u a people person..a numbers guy...have a lot of time..a money guy where u have funds to go residential versus commerical..however this last criteria may be a little skewed given the fact commerical property can be acquired fairly cheap in the detroit market...i would also say decide if u want to get into the rehab bussiness the landlordong business wholesaling birddogging etc...all these things can make u money but i would suggest that u pick one and stick to that until u meet a predetermined goal u set for your real estate objectives

Theodore B. I am very intrigued with the whole flipping concept...as my research has lead me to grow more and more intrigued with that opportunity in all do honesty I know I have a ways to go before I get to that point. I am currently working an everyday job, in all do honesty, is not a well paying one and my financial resources are fairly limited...I am looking to gain as much knowledge as possible to "get my feet wet" in real estate and grow as I learn. I would love to get to know how you got started, you beginning situation, any advice you may have, and what recommendations that would inspire and assist me in my ventures.
