Hey Paula Matli welcome to BiggerPockets! That's awesome you have some experience with rentals - we could definitely use help around these forums answering any questions you have experience in! It's a great place to learn new things while also sharing what you do know. Keep an eye on the BP Blog (look over there-----> in the sidebar for most recent posts) for some good info.
Also - one of the best ways to stay in touch with what's going on is by setting up Keyword Alerts for stuff you might be interested in or maybe your local city. When those words are mentioned on the forums, you'll be notified and can jump into those conversations. It's a good way to meet people also from your local area!
