If you live in KC, look in the Event section here for meetups near you and use sites like Meetup dot com to look for real estate investor meetups. Based on your post and your questions, it sounds like you are at the very beginning of your journey so you have to ask yourself, why do you want invest in real estate? What capital do you have and what are your goals? Have you read any books or listened to podcasts to pair with the in-person meetups?
