Space may be the final frontier

Space.

We often imagine the solar system. A far away cosmic galaxy above us and although that may have some truth to it. This is not the space I am referencing.

Space, the kind that allows thoughts, feelings, emotions and pathways forward to surface.. Oftentimes, we rush past the uncomfortable feelings to avoid feeling them. Yet... Those pockets of time are usually where solid foundations get built.

Early investors mistake the power of space and time and saying less.

We become so excited about the first deals. The next deals. The newest kitchen remodel and by doing so.. We overly become attached to an outcome we don't really control... We only participate inside.

We follow up, circle back, "bring me up to speed." and so on.. Those sound and can be harmless.. However, the existing homeowners are simultaneously forming their own stories and dialogue. Then things like this start to become the thoughts, inside:

"This investor is desperate."

"If I hold out longer, I'll get what I want."

"I'm not giving this house away for free, I'd rather watch it rot."

Those walls typically result in a "no".

You can be a master investor, negotiator and/ or psychologist... But at the end of the days.. If they're not ready to walk through the doors you opened... You CAN NOT, forcefully pull them inside...

They must want it. It must be mutual and your job is to open the doors. Provide enough warmth, love and leadership for them to feel okay walking inside.

Open the doors, welcome them, tell them you're going to sit down and allow the door to remain open allowing the fresh air to come inside.

You may lead horses to water but you can not force them to drink.

You can't drink for two or more, only yourself.

That doesn't make anyone bad or evil or malicious..

It's how we're wired..

So, before you fall in love with the deals..

Check your numbers.

Allow grace with boundaries, without overstepping your own.

Be warm while telling the truth, even while it feels uncomfortable.

The more you chase without allowing space, the faster it all runs from you.

Abundance, prosperity and wealth are alignment, not something you buy at the store.
