    Austin Willman Thanks for the response! At the point, I'm just wanting to get started. My initial idea was to start with wholesaling and branch out as I gained confidence. But I'm more than willing to come on with a mentor/partner/colleague and just help and learn and ultimately do business together. Justin Taber Thanks for the response! I'd love to sit down and talk! I'm wanting to get involved in learn. I don't have any experience in investing and I'm wanting to start building the right relationships to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

    There is a FREE meeting tonight (Thursday, November 17th) for experienced and newbie Investors, Landlords, Wholesalers and Flippers at Tommy's Pizza on Dublin-Granville between Sawmill and Riverside. Tommy’s is attached to the western side of Oakland Nursery. The meeting starts at 6:00 PM.

    You can arrive at any time but from 6:00 - 7:00 PM they'll have a Q&A which is very helpful for newbies. After that there is usually a featured speaker on an important topic.

    There’s typically a good mix of attendees - usually one or more attorneys, a number of agents, many experienced investors, landlords, flippers, rehabbers, contractors, lenders, etc. This will be a very good opportunity for networking and to meet people active on BP (and those who don't use BP). While not an official BP meetup, you can accomplish the same goals. Several BP meetups have been tried in Columbus without much success, one as recently as (I believe) September.

    The meeting will end around 9 PM but the room will be available for networking till about 10. As stated above, except for any food or drink you happen to order, there is no charge to attend. It is usually well-attended. This group has been meeting for years and attracts attendees from all over Columbus Metro.

    @Michael Hamby and I are teaming up with another biggerpockets member from 

    @Ed W.'s Dublin landlord meeting who has a lot of vacant properties here in town. If you go to the meeting you can meet with him. It's a great way to get started. I've never seen someone more willing to help out. His name is Brian and he has a few thousand vacant homes that he is working to get tracked down. We have an investment side too and try to help anyone out that we can. If you want to watch us work a few deals I'm sure we can figure something out.
