New to the Oklahoma City market.

Hello, I’ve been researching Midwest markets for the past few months and decided to jump into Oklahoma City. I have a short trip scheduled in February to get eyes on the city and network with as many agents, investors, wholesalers I can. I’ve seen some recent posts about meet-ups in January, but is there anything scheduled for February yet? I’ll be traveling in 2/1/19-2/3/19. Thank you in advance and I hope to meet some of you soon.

Welcome from a fellow Oklahoma investor.  As others have said, there are a variety of meet-ups or you can ping us personally, we're a pretty friendly state. I'm not actually aware of any February meet-ups in the time frame you are referencing, they are mostly later in the month.  Lots of product selling going on but there are some great 'no-sales' meet-ups as well.

    there are a few groups that meet on a monthly basis.  some are pushing a product others are there just for networking.  i would stick to the latter if it were me but its your call.  lots of resources here although we would not have our feelings hurt if you went to another market , lol  just trying to scare of some cali folks.  I was in pasadena for 9 years.  feel free to reach out of i can help in any way.

    Hey @Rick Bracelin there are several meetups that happen on a monthly basis as Rhett suggested.  Would love to connect when you're in town.

    @Rhett Tullis  I'm not planing on committing a large amount of money to any educational products at this time.  I can get more knowledge then I can consume from BP, books and podcasts, but having another local investors perspective would be invaluable.  Thank you  for the response.

    @Rick Bracelin I was thinking you might want to stop by my uncles place, he's an old cracker but he spear headed paying off 90 properties that he owns clean and clear. Its also good to hear from a local on over 50 years of owning real estate. He cash flows 30k per month now and i bet he would meet you for lunch if you bought him a buffet ;) ha.. PM or email your schedule and I will try to hook it up. Disclaimer he is 70 and well.. dont expect the latest tech info.. blahaha
