I have a family member that got the iflip Realty investment program by Cameron Dunlap and would like me to invest with him in the wholesaleing properties.now i have a large sum of money that I can put in to the LLC he has created and became a partner but I know nothing about buying and flipping houses. Now I have been in HVAC for 30yrs and before that i was a subcontractor for a number of years so i do have experience in construction remodeling and other aspects of home Maintenance to bring to the table besides my money.i just would like to know if anyone knows about this guy and how useful and accurate his programs are?

@Gary Williams I can't speak to the program but people absolutely make good money flipping properties and the fact that you are in the trades definitely gives you an advantage. The hardest part is finding great deals where you can ideally purchase a property at 70% ARV - Repairs. If you do pursue this path, or want more education before you take the plunge. I recommend you read J Scott's books:

@Gary Williams Investing money with family members can be a tricky thing. Does this family member actually have any experience with wholesaling properties or did they just pay for a course and say ok now Im an investor? If its the latter perhaps let them get their feet wet first and do a few deals while you watch from the sidelines before throwing a substantial amount of money at their new business. Wholesaling can absolutely be a great way to make money, but it can also be a great way to go bankrupt if you dont know what you’re doing. Proceed with caution!
