Starting out in real estate with low capital. Wholesaling?

Hi Friends,

I am new to real estate. I have been trying to read, and listen to the podcasts here available at BP. I'm looking to invest in the east coast area, mainly in the NJ, PA, DE area. I do not have a lot of capital to start with. I have heard that wholesaling is the way to go for starters? What are your thoughts on this? 

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
