As a young person starting off is gonna be hard obviously. I'm only 18 coming into REI and they're plenty of young investors just starting out like me. What advice would you give that you wish you have known when you first started?

@Kameron Holloway Are you good with your hands? There is plenty to learn in the building/construction trade that is valuable in maintaining your future properties. Do you know any investors in your area? If you could shadow them and be a helper, you will gain knowledge the quickest way -- by doing. This is how I learned to paint, plaster repair and install light fixtures. Meanwhile, keep your credit clean and live below your means so that you will have a little nest egg to invest when an opportunity arises.

Start with a vision, back plan from there, and go execute. Find out the little details that make up a task and just start checking them off. Once you see the path, all you have to do is follow it.
