I have been using Batch Skip Tracing.com to skip trace all of my leads, but now that I have Mojo I wasn't sure if I should sign up for the skip tracing service with them. They would be cheaper, but is it "you get what you paid for."

I was waiting until I have a more thorough analysis, but I've been busy this weekend/week with moving. However, after using Mojo for skips, my initial opinion is pretty good. So far, after several hundred record skips, I saw around a 50-60% hit rate. That's lower than the 70% or so I was getting from other services I've used, but I do feel like the quality of those hits were higher. My contact rate stayed the same, and even went up a percentage point or so, which I feel indicates quality data. Speaking of data, I like Mojo skipping because you generally get back a lot more property information from their skips, not just phone numbers like you do at some other places.
I'll keep using it for a while and let you all know if anything changes, but for now, I feel like $40/mo for unlimited skips is pretty darn good.

Yes, its not as good as other skip tracing services. This isnt always quantifiable, how many hits in a list will be dud with the mojo service? I'm not sure, but I've heard this consistently from other investors.

@Christopher Petrillo, I would recommend doing a small sample test. That's what I do with any service I try but I haven't tried either of these. If you do, please come back and tell us how it went. I just heard of Mojo and am considering this myself.

Never used Mojo skip tracing, but I haven't heard great things about it. I would stick to BatchSkip if you're looking for the best premium data. It is a little pricey though - I think its 18 cents a lead. I have an in-house skip tracer for my company, so if you're struggling finding good data, we would be happy to run your leads through our system. Can get it done for around 10-12c per record. Feel free to DM me if you want to run your records through our system!

I've used batchskiptracing for a while, usually see about 70-75% hit rate. Accuracy is harder to gauge, since you don't know if someone doesn't pick up whether it's a bad number, or just someone who didn't answer your call.
I'm going to try Mojo skiptracing and see how they match up. I'll let you all know...
@David Sussman - please let us know how Mojo skiptracing goes. I'm considering using them over batchskiptracing as well and would love to hear how your experience goes.

Just signed up for Mojo's skip-tracing service a couple weeks ago and I have to say I am super disappointed with it. Their hit rate is maybe 40% so I still have to manually skip 60% of the leads myself, which is a huge waste of time. Reached out to customer service and they're completely unapologetic. They admit that their hit rate/accuracy is low but offer zero refunds on any of their packages. Skip elsewhere!!

I've tried LexisNexis. Its a minimum $2,000 spend. It is pretty accurate, however it is almost impossible to get off the ground running. Formatting the lists to get skip traced is almost impossible. Especially, if you have unit or complex numbers, forget it. Maybe it is easier for SFR only. I have not been too pleased with the ease of use. I can't say I'm in love with it, nor can I fully recommend it at this time.
@NaDean Bowles - I want to understand correctly. You have been using Mojo's Skip Trace service? You have gotten some good results and accurate "hits" back from them, in terms of contact info? -Bonus: :) how many deals have you got from using their skip traced numbers?

Everyone I use IDI batch solutions. It’s pretty good. For every 10 people called I get 2 people on the phone and a lot of the ones that don’t answer are correct numbers because their voice mail gives it away. I always get about 88%-90% hit rate with them

@Oscar Calle those are good numbers. We use the same databases that IDI uses and we actually add 8 others on top of it to get even more accurate data. Our hit rates are around 95-99% and you actually only get charged for 92% hit rate even if your results are higher!
@Oscar Calle I'm not certain i'm using the software correctly, but if I am it's not helpful. How are you using the skip trace method within the interface?

@Stewart Sears are you using IDI Core? If you are it’s very time consuming. I use their batch solutions. You send a spreadsheet with a bunch of names and addresses and they send you a skip traced spreadsheet. Call their sales department and say you want the batch solutions. IDI Core is more for private detectives and stuff like that

I've heard mojo is terrible. I used to use Batch as well, they were okay. The last few months I've been using an in-house guy that I hired to pull lists and skip trace for me and its been a gamechanger. I can give you his contact if any of you guys want it. Skips run me 12c per record and the list pulling is 2.5 cents (Which I feel is a little pricey but I can really narrow down my filters so I still use it)

I just did a 10,000 batch skip trace with Mojo dialer. After removing any 3,000 DNC numbers it returned 3,700 numbers so approx just over a 50% hit rate. I am having my VA call them this week so I will let you all know what the connection rate is. I will update by this weekend
