Where in WI are you located? I'm closing on a duplex in March in Waupaca and plan on doing a lot of the upgrades and repairs myself but wouldn't hurt to know if there's someone else handy in the area with a lot more knowledge than me.

See if there are any local FB groups for real estate investors in your area. That's usually a great place to find local people to shadow and find real estate related work.
