Hi Joshua, I'm a local investor in the Billings/Red Lodge area. I would love to meet like-minded people to bounce ideas off of. I would love to have people to share local referrals with especially contractors, plumbers, electricians, lenders, etc. I live in Red Lodge with small kids so I like the idea and flexibility of zoom/google meet meetings as well. I look forward to meeting other investors in the area.
I would say any and all of your list. Even experienced investors can learn new tricks and tips. Any platform to share experiences and make those connections between buyers and sellers. With this lack of inventory, seems my clients' 'wish list' for both buyers and sellers keeps growing. If we can do some matchmaking that would be awesome! I am starting up a real-estate meetup in Billings, Mt targeting new/beginner real-estate investors helping them take their next steps!
With that said what would be most helpful for you as an investor (experienced people please help me out too)
A. Clear and professional teaching
B. Ability to "Pick the Brain" of a more successful investor
C. Relaxed Hang out time with no agenda (creating real friendship)
D. Accountability and Goal setting
E. Something else? (coffee/doughnuts)

We started one from scratch here at first as a cashflow 101 game night.
It then grew to quite a few attendees at one of the investor's bistro shop monthly.
The leader was key. I'm not built for that, but here are a couple observations.
The meet and greet in the beginning was my favorite part. What was cool was the feeling of coopetition. Yes, most were looking for deals, but in different niches and areas. I would gladly pass along house buy or LO leads for multi leads. It helps to have investors or at least speakers with different focuses.
The leader also had a sort of mentorship plan if anyone needed it, but didn't push or advertise. He would help new people get into lease options for half of their first 2 deals. Nothing up front. Not paid unless successful.
We had a key speaker from the industry that wasn't just selling. They brought value. A PM, attorney, appraiser, lender, etc.
We had a show and tell and q&A. You could bring up something you were workimg on. You could ask questions.
Sad to say ours died. The leader also does business in Vegas and moved back one winter. Without him, it petered out. It got big and needed attention. Smaller with less formality probably would have survived.
