Good morning everyone, I have been listening to tons of podcasts lately and constantly hear "let the world know" that you are an investor. Well, after searching the web and turning up empty. It popped in my head. Post your question on BiggerPockets lol...(duh)
Well my question to everyone is.. How did you let the world know?! Did you make a post on FB and say "I invest in rental properties" ?? If so, did that get you any leads from it and what did your post say??
Tell anyone and everyone you meet. Work it organically into every conversation you can. Be honest and respectful but tell everyone.
Don’t get caught up thinking there is any right or wrong way to do it. Just tell everyone at any opportunity you get. When other people think about you you want them to think real estate.

I never really told anyone that I invest in rentals, I just got caught browsing the MLS at work by my co-workers. They would then start asking questions from there, but they are skeptics anyways lol
Welcome to Bigger Pockets! And your doing it right now! haha your attracted a real estate agent that would be interested in helping you find a cash flowing rental property! lol but in all seriousness Facebook is a great resource. I suggest joining some real estate investing groups. Great place to connect with people to help you start real estate investing. And bigger pockets is obviously a great source. You don't need to "put it out there" necessarily, Just start diving in, and whenever you have a question hop on a forum. But if you do want to put it out there do a video and post it to linked in or facebook. Remember people need to hear that your an investor 5 times before you are cemented in there mind as an investor.
