Hey this is Miguel I'm 17 years old from northern California an I want to pursue real estate as my career owning rental properties and i don't know how to get started
if anybody can give me advice ill be very great full thank you
@Miguel A Guerrero this is great that you are clear on what you want to do. I’d start by attending meetups, networking, and read/listen to as many podcasts and books as you can. I’d also talk to an investor friendly lender to see where you stand with financing/where you will need to be for your first property. Reach out to experienced investors and see what you can learn. Think about forming partnerships or a team to streamline your progress. Hope this helps and good luck!
I was born and raised in Salinas, CA. Is that where you want to invest? I would say you want to start saving some money and/or possibly seeking out people who do have some money. Listen to BiggerPocket Podcast daily and ready some real estate books. Perhaps join a successful Realor team so you can get exposed more that way. May be think about getting your real estate license. Or better yet - find a successful investor and try to work with them in some entry level to learn the business. Just a few thoughts.

Dan, I started investing at 21 - it is totally doable. We started house hacking (very little down) and moved to renting single family homes and short term rentals. 20 years later, we are still doing it. Let me know if you have any specific questions or just need to talk through strategies.
