Classifieds - What are the current posting limits?

@Moderators what are the current daily posting limits in the Classifieds? I've seen a lot of changes to the Classifieds (formerly Marketplace) over the years. What are the latest rule updates? Are posters still limited to two postings per day?

Yea, I can't go too far into the details, but we do try to prevent people spamming over and over again. There's a lot of noise that never even bubbles to the surface anymore.

@Aaron Breckenridge the rules are in the footer. I assume they aren't enforced since you're not quoting them. Emphasis mine:

These rules apply to the Classifieds threads: The primary purpose of BiggerPockets is to give members a forum to discuss real estate. Advertising is a secondary benefit to paid members. We limit the number of ads each user may post. A user may start up to 2 new ad threads each day. A member may repeat an ad for a previously advertised product or service as long as at least 5 days have elapsed from the previous posting. Replying to an existing ad just to get it back to the top of the list is considered repeating an ad and can only be done after at least 5 days from a previous update. Replies that address questions or comments from other members are not subject to the 5 day time limit. Note that the limits on repeating ads are based on the product or service being advertised, not the specific text of the ad. Furthermore, BiggerPockets reserves the right to remove ads or to close completely accounts of those users who have incomplete profiles, or who fail to provide enough information to identify the product or service that is being promoted, or for any other reason.

You can't rely on that. That's why I asked for an update. They've changed how they run the website 30 times since those were written. BiggerPockets doesn't ever update that stuff when they make changes.

Hell, if you look at the About Us section on BiggerPockets it lists John Holdman as the Lead Moderator. He hasn't been on the website in 7 years.

For property listings, they have to be listed here. Currently we only allow Pros to post up to 3 every 24h. Gotta be a pro to post listings.

For all other listings/services, you can use the classifieds here. Classifieds posts are basically unlimited for all users.
