Android Users Now Can Listen to the BP Podcast on Google Play!

So maybe you have an Android device, and you want another way to listen to the BiggerPockets Podcast. Do Stitcher, Soundcloud, and YouTube just not provide enough options? Do you need another way to listen? Your wish is granted!

Guys - We didn't make the Google Play store or their player. We were absolutely Apple first on our podcast because Apple popularized the concept -- Google is just now getting into the game and clearly their product isn't perfect yet. We were merely letting everyone know that the show is now available as a native listen for Android users.

If you don't like their player, there are tons of alternatives -- Stitcher, Soundcloud, YouTube, and the list goes on.

There are tons of ways to take in the BiggerPockets Podcast.  Find the one you like best and go with it!

    I just tried it on Android - slow slow slow!

    Basically is not usable...

    boggles my mind why everything is apple first…more customers are on android...service them

    separately, I use SoundCloud to listen to BP podcasts, you get the latest episodes very quickly, the app is great, and as an added bonus, or quiiiick tip (shout out @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner) - if you're a T-Mobile customer (I am) you don’t use any data to stream them. On my device, as of 4/19/16 that’s all the episodes archived back to episode 94, or roughly 110 hours of real estate bliss.

    Hi. I like it but I have a suggestion. Can you make a possibility to mark podcasts as favorite and bookmark them to listen later on? That'd be really helpful. Thanks.

    Stitcher works very well and great point made about free audio streaming on t-mobile.  Also video streaming is also free on t-mobile so the video podcast that i think was mentioned a few shows back is also gonna be a great addition.

    I've listened to podcasts for about the past eleven years, most of them on Android.  I use an app called DoggCatcher.  It handles audio and video.  You can set it up to auto download at certain times, each feed can have different settings for downloading.  Has variable speed playback for the audio, and if you use something like Diceplayer then you have change the speed of playback for video as well.  It's a very powerful app.

    I have been listening to the podcasts for years using Podkicker on my android.  It works great.  I have never had a problem with it.

    My go-to pod cast app for Android is Podcast & Radio Addict. Frequent updates from the developer, easy to use.

    +1 to Dogcatcher.

    Dogcatcher was ranked best podcast app for years by many. 

    PocketCasts has overtaken them due to design. Many of the same features.

    Stitcher is convenient, no downloading - streams everything.

    stitcher doesn't have all the episodes which is kind of a bummer. it goes from episode 96 to 55, then stops at 49.

    These are the two biggest issues that immediately come to mind.  Oh yeah, and if you could improve the profile screen to enlarge profile pictures that would be great.

    @Todd Fronek , we have not stopped service to Google Play. They insist we are at fault, however we have changed nothing and they are the only place where our new episodes do not show up. I have heard from many people in my various podcasting groups that they too have done nothing, Google insists that the problem is on our end, and new episodes show up sporadically.

    I can find the latest episodes of the show on my Google Play, so I have been recommending deleting and re-installing the app to see if that fixes it, otherwise there are lots of podcasting apps that can keep up with our output. I personally use Podcast Addict.
