I'm not sure where the best place to post this is, but I wanted to congratulate James Ward for being named BP Member of the Week. I cannot think of anyone who deserves this more. Not only is James an awesome negotiator, but he also has great advice, which he's been willing to share with many on this site. His approach is well reasoned, thoughtful and always ethical. CONGRATULATIONS, JAMES! Well Deserved!
WAHOOO! Congrats James! I second and third everyone's sentiments. James has a way to work through ALL of my crazy fears in short sales and has hand held me BIG TIME!! He has serious patience. It must be a Southern thing because all us Northerners are way too "on edge"!!! THANKS JAMES!!
Wish I could take credit for it, but I think Josh thought of it. It was announced in the newletter we just got. This is the first one that I've seen.......and I'm delighted James got it.
The BiggerPockets Mailing list goes out every week with the latest real estate and BiggerPockets news, articles, hot forum posts, and more. Last week we started to feature a "Member of the Week," and as Jackie already mentioned, James was our highlighted member this week.
IF you have not been reading the newsletter, you are missing out. I have many times found info in the newsletter that I overlooked on the site. And, if you are not reading the BP Blog, then you are even further missing out. Lots of great info on the Blog.
Hey wait just a minute! It says my email is already subsribed to the newsletter but I can't find it anywhere. Yes, I looked in the junk mail too....
Sam - If you're on the list, make sure webmaster [a][t] biggerpockets . com is on your email whitelist. We're using a 3rd party email provider now, which is very reliable. The only reason you wouldn't get the message is if we're bouncing. Add us to the safelist and you should be good.
Whatever!!! James doesn't deserve 'member of the week'
He doesn't shower for weeks on end, his teeth is about to fall out I hear he has an obsession for soaking his feet in strawberry juice for at least an hour a day. I tell, I think he's a complete weirdo but hey, I guess we gotta pick someone!!
Jackie summed it up well! Congratulations, James! BTW, I don't believe a bit of what Nick said although if James were doing face to face negotiations, it may make things move very fast!

Actually Maryann, my motives are slightly selfish. See, I look at a larger picture than most. If your business is successful and very profitable and I have helped along the way, than it is very likely that you will stay with my company for your Short Sale Negotiations. So, your success brings my company further success.
And, you are crazy. You are very cautious. And if more business owners we cautious, more would be profitable.
I really thank everyone for the pleasent things that have been expressed about me and my company!
