Buying real estate in different weather.
Hello everyone I had a quick question and wanted to get some peoples opinions. I was wondering does anyone invest in areas were weather is bad like tornado weather? I was wondering since looking to invest in Texas but I saw some homes are cheaper than others in like where tornado ally area is at. Asking to since I can purchase property in those areas with cash and it will be paid off.

I am in Kansas City which is technically tornado ally. Sure a tornado can hit but it's a rare and slim to none chance. I will say in those areas with tornados you will see storms. That means hail, wind, etc. That would cause more issues that would actually effect you. Have insurance and you'll be OK. Also make sure trees are trimmed away from the house.
