Get educated on retail properties. Are you working on getting licensed and going to work at a commercial retail firm to get trained up as your full time profession?

That would likely be a good place to start. I have commercial buyers with amazing wealth but I have been doing this almost 17 years in the business and look at thousands of retail properties a week. You need to get educated on the product you want to offer so those with money can take you seriously that you have a valid deal to present them that is worth their time and consideration to look at.

If you present something that is junk and do not know it is junk the buyers likely never talk to you again. People with that kind of money their time is worth thousands of dollars or more per hour and if you waste their time they won't forget that anytime soon. That is often WHY people get licensed as an agent and start out at a bigger commercial firm on a team as a junior agent and learn the trade.

ICSC also has some books for purchase on retail subjects.
