Section 8 Rent from a Relative

Hey BP 👋🏼

I was curious if anyone has ever gone through the process and qualified to rent a property to a family member who is on section 8 housing?
My mother is disabled and is currently on the program. We live in an area that has frequent rent increases and units that cater to her needs are few and far between. 
I own a home in the area and I am at a point where if we refinance, the rent would qualify against the section 8 guidelines for our city. 
I plan on investing in another home and moving from my current home within the next year, so I’m hoping to plan accordingly and understand what additional caveats I should keep in mind along the way!

I'm following your post too.  One of my relatives is disabled and qualifies for Section 8.  I'd like to see if I can invest in a Single Family home in a good neighborhood in MN then have her rent from me.  Has anyone gone through this process or similar?
