Kitchen cabinet colors for multi family rentals

We're going to start a full renovation of the first unit of our multifamily very soon.  What are your recommendations for kitchen cabinet colors?  We are planning to upgrade all the units and increase rent by using quality material.  Feedback is highly appreciated.  Thanks!

    @Abiy Tedla I have mostly gone with white cabinets with black hardware on the same as is the market trend currently

    Personally, I'm a fan of staining cabinets more so than painting since it lasts a lot longer and is more durable (plus I think it looks nicer than painted cabinets too) 

    Additionally, using stainless steel appliances and under-mount sinks definitely adds to the oomph factor of the property even though they aren't much more expensive than their counterparts

    Something neutral and hard wearing.  I'd avoid dark colours because chips will show more easily.  I like white, but it is hard to keep clean.  Do a wood with a lighter stain.

    Also if you have someone do the lay out of the cabinets, do fewer wider ones.  A friend had a company come in and they wanted to do a bunch of narrower (but functional) cabinets-it was a lot more expensive to do the smaller ones.

    Hey @Sanat BhandariI wasn't sure about white cabinets but it does seem to be popular for its clean look. Thank you for the tip on the under-mount sinks!!  Will def check that out.  The kitchen is an important space for tenants and the more it stands out, the better.

    I always go with darker cabinets in rentals. White looks better, but gets dirty and more dinged up.

     Hey Russell, opening an old post but am now considering black shaker. Currently my primary but will revert back to a rental in 3 years. Have you done black shaker style? I'm mainly consider about dings/durability and the black showing everything similar to a black car LOL (smudges, fingerprints, dirt, etc).
