Hi BP,
I'm looking to house hack my investment property for a year and then rent out both units afterwards. Is it necessary to refinance my loan after I move out?

No you do not but your 0 down VA Loan limit will be reduced by however much you borrowed if you plan to utilize the benefits again. I’ve got a home that I’ve been renting for over 2 Years not that I bought with a VA loan.
