Kitchen Remodel Tips Needed

Liam Hanlon
Posted

Hi All,

Currently in the process of purchasing my second duplex. I have done minor remodeling work and landscaping on my first property, but This one requires complete remodeling in both kitchens.

Looking for any tips/ tricks/ lessons learned/ or trusted resources that this forum has to offer.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey Liam! I recommend sanding, priming, and painting as many old cabinets that you can. You'll save thousands if the old ones are in good shape. New paint and hardware goes a long way. If it's a rental it's a no brainer. If it's a flip I consider replacing them. The biggest cost to remodel a property is labor. The less stuff you need to demo/replace the less cost. Cheers.
